No OTA updates for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi I have not had any of the recent OTA updates for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge since I had it in March. Is this because O2 are slow and rolling them out or is it my phone?

You won't automatically get every single update, esp if not just a small one.
O2 may roll them together. They get sent from Samsung for evaluation and testing by the networks then the network decides if they wish to approve them for release to customers.

You only get updates from O2 if you have an O2 phone and I know for sure they have been approved by O2 so you should get them, if you have an O2 phone. Settings >About Device >Software updates >Check now.
If not, let us have your CSC (*#1234#) and we'll have a look at what phone you have.

I have just read about this one http://www.androidcentral.com/galaxy-s7-edge-picks-march-security-update-uk

If there is anything else (related to O2) I expect @Chris_K is the one to ask....

You have the latest released firmware already - there are no updates available as yet.
