Received my new Samsung galaxy s10 today with a new sim card and everything is working fine apart from i cant receive text messages. I took sim card out and put it into my s7 and still can not receive texts. Has anyone got any ideas what the problem could be

Did you upgrade or take out a new contract?
If you upgraded, just put the old sim in the new phone. Your new tariff will be on there.
If a new contract, you need to activate the new sim.

I have upgraded. I got sent a new sim card so I done a sim swap online

Ah. You'll need to give it some time then.
In the good ol' days it would be done within hours.
Now we hear some are waiting 6/7/8 days and it's still not done...

I can receive/make calls and i can send a text messages but for some reason im not receiving them

It can take 24 hours for all services to be connected.
