Network changes back to 3G on Samsung S5

Anonymous
Not applicable

The Network mode on my Samsung Galaxy s5 keeps  switching back from 4g/3g/2g (auto connect) to 3g/2g.

I'm in a 4G reception area and I've had a 4G signal.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I've noticed the same glitch on occasion too.
Set it to 4g then power off and back on again - it seems to stick if done this way.

Your phone will always seek out the strongest signal where you are, which may not be an area where 4G is strong. It can be affected by many things, i.e. weather conditions, or if you're indoors or out.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I don't think the issue is specific to Samsung either, as I've noticed it on other phones, so I guess it must be a glitch in Lollipop.

Unfortunately not. It stuck after the phone was restarted, but changed back to 3G/2G after coming out of Ultra Power Saving mode.

I've not had any problems recently so maybe an update has fixed my issue.
Make sure all your apps and firmware are up to date too.
