NO 3G / 4G AVAILABLE ON NEW LG 3G PHONE?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I received my upgrade to an LG 3G phone from my previously beloved iPhone 5 on Saturday and am having a whale of a time (not!) trying to work it all out - email access (personal email now resolved work outlook not yet) etc.

I'm very pleased with the phone itself, excellent camera and size in particular but I although it works wirelessly, I can't get the 3g / 4g option when I'm out of range of wireless?

I've been into setting / tethering etc but can't find the solution - help!!

Many thanks,

Text the word ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings you get sent back.
Make sure you have mobile data turned on too.

You may need to ring O2 customer services ->

o2 Link http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to ask to be taken off idata settings.

Input your Full Post Code here to check your local Masts -> http://status.o2.co.uk {If a mast shows an issue a customer can now ask Customer Services to keep them updated on its Status via Text or eMail} say.

Thank you, it appears to be updating and installing software so hopefully I'll end up with a 3G / 4G connection when it finishes!

Will let you know the outcome slight_smile
