My Phone is Broken and being repaired how do I use my sim in another phone?

Hi THere

My phone is no longer working.  I have a Samsung Edge.  The phone has been taken to an O2 shop to be looked at.  In the meantime, I was avised that I could use my sim in another phone.  The customer service provided me with an adpater to use in another phone.

I have been asked to provide a code to unlock the sim when i place it into another phone where do i get this from?

Kind regards,

@AnonymousWhat code? All you need to do is put your sim in the adapter then use the other phone. No need to unlock it unless there is a bar placed on the sim

If the phone is locked to o2 there is no need to unlock it.
However, if locked to say EE or Voda for example, you would need to contact that network for an unlock code.

That's what I was trying get to ascertain. If those is asking for an unlock code it's obviously locked to another network. The OP needs to find out and approach that network. You can get P&G sims from the other providers online and have them delivered within 48 hours.

I just think his phone will be back from o2 before he gets the phone unlocked. Maybe a cheap phone from o2 will suffice.

Would most likely be quicker, as you say mate.
