As a phone for calls and texts and basic internet, it will be fine, but it's only 8gb storage and 1gb ram so won't be the fastest out there either.

If she keeps loads of photos, music etc on phone she will need at least 16gb and an sd card.
I've got a Leagoo Elite 1 which I would highly recommend at around £120 and the Cubot range are good too - I'll look at the specs of those you mentioned and get back to you.

I haven't used Cubot but they seem to get reasonable reviews. Looking at Google you can pick certain models up for about £60. They are Android
