Had a Gmail update yesterday that overhauled that too. Really like it, and can now view e-mail addresses from other providers (e.g. outlook) within it. Can't wait to get Lollipop now!

@Bambino I have now had chance to read this and want to ask if the features such as this......
"In-app reservations: You’ll be able to make a reservation at a restaurant right through Google Maps to any American restaurant that you can find on OpenTable".
Will these be customised for the UK?....Genuine question here....I could see how that may improve my life!
I could say to my 'gang' when we are one of our trips around and about the UK.."Hang on...let me find a restaurant for us"...
That would give me a lot of brownie points...

Has anyone tried the fairly new Here maps beta app for android(nokia maps)
You can download it for free from the samsung app store (if you own a Samung)
You can also require the apk from here...

I used it the other day and in my opinion it's better than google maps, the main reason being is that here maps you can download your full maps for offline use, you can store the map data on your internal or external storage, I downloaded full uk map and saved onto my micro sd, don't be fooled by the word beta either, it works really really well, give it a shot, oh and you can also download high quality voices.

When you say it didn't work, do you mean it didn't actually work or you simply didn't get on with it?
When did you try it? Because when I first got the apk it was before it was officially released as a beta, mine stopped working and kept force closing soon as you opened it, the trick was to change your system date to before the 29th of september or something like that and it worked, anyway since then the app beta was officially released on samsung store and it works flawless for me.

Both. I installed it, but when I tried to use it on my phone the maps I downloaded disappeared, as did the HiFi voices. Tried reinstalling, but the same thing happened. Couldn't be bothered to try a third time.
