I have commented on a previous post but I am reposting:
I need the MCK code to "unfreeze" my old phone (renewed contract with O2 got new phone - I wanted to reuse the old phone which I have paid in full - didnt realise it needed unlocking - thought you had stopped locking phones after the contract end!) - so entered wrong unlock code for three times and now the phone is frozen.
spoke to O2 support and Samsung support - O2 say I need the code from the manufacturer and Samsung say I need to code from O2 as they do lock the phones!
I have found online services that can get me the MCK code for between £15 and £17 - how do I trust them? also how do they get the code that O2/Samsung support are not willing to give me?
So if anyone could please help it would be mostly appreciated.
