Lollipop for Sony Xperia Z1?

Hi,

I have seen an update for the Z3 and other makes and models of phone, but is anyone able to say with any certainty when the Z1 (The big one, not the Compact version) will get the Lollipop update?

Yep, been released from Sony for the Z1.

Are there any dates as to when O2 will release via OTA?

I really think the way network carriers go on with these updates is atrocious, they would have gotten the updates early to tailer them to their network, ready for realease, its just amazing how its been released by sony for days now and o2 stil has not released this update. Not even the advisors know when its going to be released.

BTW, O2 UK firmware has been available before UK unbranded on every z series xperia since Android 4.2.
Blame Sony for the rollout schedule, not o2

Its not just for the Android update to Lollipop I had the same problems when I was a owner of a Windows Phone, o2 was always one of the last to pass out the updates.

O2 have released before generic Sony phones this time and also the same for Samsung S4, S5, Note 3 and Note4

Last 4 previous Sony updates O2 were first too, but people don't believe it for some reason.
