Hi,

Please can someone let me know when there is a new Android OS update available if those updates are available at the same time on locked o2 phones? or do we have to wait for o2 to add their branding etc before locked phones get the update?

Thanks

Az

Usually, unbranded devices are quicker at getting updates.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Not always, Samsung have in the past left BTU devices (sim free) till last.

Apple, Microsoft, One+ and BB roll out to everyone regardless of carrier or simfree version., near enough at the same time.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

I didn't say always.... I said usually Rolleys

As this is a question about Android, Apple (no carrier versions anyway), BB and Microsoft are not applicable either.
