Hi,
Anyone experienced problems with LG G4, where the phone won't start up, or gets to the LG Life is good screen and turns off? Tried to do a hard reset but, when I go to the option to erase all data, I press yes and the phone just freezes.
Its still in warranty, purchased on 7/6/2015, but any ideas welcome.
Cheers,
Prem

Ignore that, wife has just sent me the document that was attached with the phone which explains it.

Good. I was about to say there should have been documentation with the phone.

@MI5Will check it out mate, thanks
Just had a call from the O2 lady (O2 Complaints team) that emailed yesterday, we discussed my case and she has added a further £30 to the £20 given to me yesterday, so £50 in total.
All in all it’s worked out for me, in this particular case, 4 day turnaround to fix phone, after a hell of a lot of chasing from me, and £50 credit to my account, can’t complain, but I do wish it was stress free.
My feedback has been taken on-board, especially regarding Anovo, what they do with it I don’t know.
PS Still no update on the resolver case.

Glad it's sorted @Anonymous. As you say it's a good result but should have been less hassle..:smileyhappy:

Good morning all,
Next issue I faced over the weekend was getting my phoned unlocked again through O2, I just went through the My O2 App, it could see by my new IMEI number so I just went through the process and received this message on Saturday evening:
"Thank you for your unlatching request for IMEI X. The mobile number that you provided is X.
I'm sorry, we have not been able to unlatch your device at this time.
The reason given is: This is not an O2 device, it will not be possible for us to provide an unlatching code."
I have got this escalated through Customer services, but i also contacted the lady that dealt with my complaint and she responded this morning with:
"Hi
I’ve contacted our unlocking team and we don’t hold the unlocking code for this device. I’d advise you to maybe try and get this unlocked via a third party store and send me the receipt and I’ll refund you for this.
Kind regards"
My original phone, was an O2 phone, my newly repaired phone is also an O2 phone, so why should I have the need to go to a third party to get it unlocked. It is just more hassle for me. Am I being unreasonable? Should I pursue this further? Has anyone else had this issue?
Would welcome your views.

Persue it by all means, you aren't being unreasonable at all. Have you actually checked to see if the phone is locked?

Have just rung around a few local shops, and they say 24-48 hours and I have to leave the phone with them, costing around £10-£20, I'm not comfortable with leaving my phone with these shops. I can’t believe O2 are asking me to do this.
If I have to go down this route, are there any online companies you would recommend? Where the phone stays with me and I just have to punch in a code, after inserting a another providers sim card
I have had this escalated by an O2 Guru on Sunday, to a specialist team, so still hold a little hope for that.
