Hi everyone,

Is there any news on when O2 are going to release the Marshmallow update for the G3 (d855 international) as it's already been released for the phone model and approved and released by Three and Vodafone.

Thanks slight_smile

Well i'm rocking on lollipop installed on the HTC ONE M8S and there's no mention at all of the shiney New Marshmallow! Never mind tho,I'm beginning to think HTC have forgotten about us. 😖

@SmileyBoy, is your phone an O2 branded LG G3? Was your update delivered OTA or did you do it via the LG software? Also (last one) has this removed the O2 branding from your phone?

THANKS!

CPW phones are unbranded and would have generic LG firmware on them.

I don't believe it's a branded phone.... the only indication I'm with O2 is 'O2 - UK' on the lock screen.  I'd been try OTA for ages and there was nothing. So I went on LG website and used their LG Mobile Support Tool. There wasn't any branding as such to remove.  I backed everything up, but nothing was deleted or moved.  Hope this helps

Thanks @SmileyBoy, this has cleared up a few points for me, a great help. So my handset is O2 branded: O2 wallpapers, slpash screen, apps etc... so I guess I'm out of luck until the "official" O2 version.

I ask again @Chris_K, as many beleive you're the best source for information, when can we expect this to materialise??
