Kaspersky would not uninstall and has blocked my phone

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen, I installed a free months trial version of Kaspersky Internet security on my phone which ran out this month. I attempted to uninstall with the uninstall button which advised me the application could not be uninstalled, on the same note it had some Administration button. Of course I pressed the button and now I am completely logged out of my phone and presented with a password screen to enter a password. I have tried my mobile password, and the PUK code with no luck. Kaspersky helpline is not available on weekends so I am stuck! Any help greatly appreciated

If you haven't yet set one it will be asking you to set a new one, give it a try and you may be ok.

Kaspersky won't have a password for you.

The app will have set itself as device administrator using the password you set for it.

Kaspersky won't be able to help without it, Google is probably your only hope.
