My preference is Odin but Kies is fully automatic and probably easier if you're not used to flashing firmware....

Disclaimer first, as I have not flashed a P version with International firmware (but I know someone who has), so the only thing is you will loose the NFC function on the phone. Personally, I would wait for the Samsung release of the P firmware but ultimately it's up to you if you can wait or not.....?

Ahh okay, that's irritating. Sorry if you've answered this before, but would I be able to use those instructions you posted earlier on the P version? Or would that screw up my phone?

I'm at work, am I missing something? Will a GT-I9100P locked to O2 be able to be updated on Kies now?

Will there be an OTA version anytime soon?

I doubt it. It's not normally supported by O2 for the S2. The S3 was the first one to receive OTA updates, but anythings possible I guess......

I suppose it's safe to say we're gonna be be kept in the dark just as much as the standard i9100 update was as far as when to expect an o2 i9100p jelly bean update then?

I can confirm I have now updated via Kies this morning. GT-I9100 Android Version 4.1.2. Looks to be quicker and the install was straightforward. Get Updating!
