Your ROM is leaner, faster and will have better battery life (not to mention is 4.2 as opposed to 4.1). Thanks for the thumbs up wink

Any idea why my Kies doesn't show an update for my s2? I bought mine from O2 in June 2012, and its a GT-i9000P. Thanks!

The update is for the International version (I9100) not the "P" version. Still waiting for Samsung for that release.

The ROM is no different except for the O2 branding and apps. It's up to you but there's no benefit I can see.....

just checked kies and can update my s2. but battery went flat ( must be the shock) so will have to wait till its charged up.

whats the best way to update it

Ahh okay, that's irritating. Sorry if you've answered this before, but would I be able to use those instructions you posted earlier on the P version? Or would that screw up my phone?
