Just got reply from O2 customer care regards a faulty display on my HTC 626. No real explanation, other than the repair will not be done without £85 charge as the LCD display is not covered by the Warranty. How can this be the case, it is the integral part of the phone functionality.

Did the screen have any cracks or scratches on it when it was sent off? Or was there any other damage to the device.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Hi @Anonymous I would avoid O2 repairs. If it's in warranty contact HTC directly http://www.htc.com/uk/support/
