ICS 4.0.4 fed up of waiting.....please somebody help

Hi, I'm new to all this so please accept my apologies if someone has already posted this question. I have the P version of the galaxy s2 which was bought at the O2 store in castleford. My question is when will I receive the 4.0.4 update as all my friends on other networks have it and my phone has never worked righ since I updated to the 4.0.3 version. Could someone please help me with this, as I have asked O2 customer service and the technical department and everyone I speak to don't know what I'm talking about! Which is very annoying. Thank you in advance

Really, from the codes I had checked this was still 4.03. I do not doubt you as i know you are upto date with this.
Maybe I have read it wrong.

This is the link to the firmware on sammobile stating 4.04. If you go into settings >about device and look for android version it should confirm. Unless something very strange is happening. In all honesty I don't think O2 went to 4.03 for the P version, chosing instead to ge straight to 4.04. Strangely there is no 4.04 for the standard phone from O2 yet..... http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=8&view=4680

MI5,
I think I read that for the SII it was going from 4.0.3 to Jelly Bean 4.1 x and missing 4.0.4. Samsung should have pushed out JB last month but still waiting. Or maybe I got it wrong lol

There is a leaked JB Sammy ROM for the S2 which is apparently very stable (not tried it myself) but I suspect this is what Sammy will release shortly. How soon O2 roll it out after that is anyone's guess though. 4.04 is available for the open S2's (I9100) just not O2 coded phones......
