How do I transfer my photo's from my old phone to my new one?

Hello everyone, I have upgraded my phone today, a new sim byt kept my number, can anyone tell me how I can transfer my photo,s etc: onto my new phone from my old one?

Which phone do you have & did you make a back up before you upgraded? Did the store not offer to do it for you?

Recommended....used it on my wife's tablet when the motherboard had to be replaced under warranty (wifi and bt failed)....nothing was lost.....I was so relieved !!

By default your photos are set to back up to Google.
If you open the Google Photos app you should find them all in there already.
