Help me please

My galaxy s2 needs updating . I am on android version 2.3.5 and gingerbread how do I update phone to latest version . I tried to use kies but all it says is connecting but it never goes anywhere . Thanks

Im a little ring rusty with the Android forum.

Perhaps Google or youtube is your freind here.

Here is a tutorial i came across recently and maybe it may be of use to you.

A Word Of Caution.

Make sure you do lots of homework before carrying out any firmware update.
