HTC One won't save sites in bookmarks

It also won't let you edit contacts...this on the one m7....sometimes it'll work but most of time it won't!. The guru in the shop doesn't know either, it's on 4.3 kitkat so I'm told, and so far know one knows why it's doing this, I just wondered if anyone else the same problem and what you to fix it

Where are the contacts stored, ie Google, Phone, SIM card?
