HTC One X Plus - have to reboot each time I want to use mobile data

I received a new HTC One X Plus last week.  It all seems to work fine most of the time, but if I am not on wi-fi then mobile data won't work until I reboot my phone, at which point it's ok until I use wi-fi again.    It's irritating!   Is this a known fault?  thanks.

Known fault or not it's not acceptable. Take it back to be replaced. You can try switching airplane mode on/off which might give you the same result but be quicker than rebooting the phone.
