HTC Kaiser phone blocked by 02 and won't take my GiffGaff sim

Anonymous
Not applicable

My HTC phone will accept any other network sim other than 02. I am aware that the previous 02 number was blocked, but I need the phone to use my new GiffGaff sim.

I think there is more to it than that. If a phone is IMEI blocked due to loss/theft it is normally blocked on all UK networks. The fact that it is only blocked for O2 points to the problem being account related either unpaid or fraudulent activity.

I agree if it was done to protect an unpaid account or fraud then O2 are surely within their rights.
