Greetings
I am Pete, balding beer monster....
I am here to investigate a strange phenomenon.... My HTC HD2 has, for the last three days, had the clock time 'jump' ahead by one or sometimes two hours, once or twice a day. I haven't touched the time settings in months. It's not just me - my boss, who has an HTC HD2 as well, is noticing the same behaviour.
Googling has turned up this possible fix: Go into Start-Settings-Menu (lower right)-all settings-Personal-phone-GSM/UMTS- select Time synchronization / get settings then untick Automatic time zone, then ok.
What I'd like to know is why this should have just started happening, and is the fix above likely to help?
All the best
Pete

Why not try it and see?
Possibly a temporary fault with the time server?

It has been tried, we will see what happens over the next few days.

Unticked mine, but my bosses' was already unticked, so we'll see.
All the best
