My son has given me his HTC Desire as he now has a new Samsung.  He says I need a new SIM card as I have an old Sony Ericsson K800i.

Will the O2 shop charge much for this?

The K800i was a great phone, I remember it well. Your SIM should be fine in the HTC.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Try the sim and see unless it's very old and doesn't have 3G it will work, the card should have "3G" in it's serial number.

If you need one the shop shouldn't charge you and will swap the number for you, unless it hasn't been used for six months.
