Right. A lot of phone issues can be resolved by rebooting your handset.

This is often the first thing CS (customer service) will ask you to try.

It will sort out the phone hanging or freezing and even sometimes a network connection issue.

REMOVABLE BATTERIES
first way to reboot your phone...
1. Press and hold the POWER and HOME button
2. HOLD until the unit turns off.

HARD REBOOT

1. While the phone is ON.
2. REMOVE the back cover and battery and SIM card.
This will stop lots of freezes by resetting the cache and if your handset won't respond to the key combo.

NON REMOVABLE BATTERY
Most of these handsets have a key combo, quite often

Hold the VOLUME UP and POWER key until the handset turns off.

IF this doesn't work for your handset then refer to your handbook. Usually atback under TROUBLE SHOOTING.

Whilst the phone is off, remove the SIM card for a minute or so. This will force the phone to get a new connection to the network which often helps with connection issues.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
