Samsung Galaxy ACE - trying to connect to PC via KIES says set connection to media device & unlock - can only be done from mobile - how?

Unlock phone as you would normally to use it then swipe down the notification bar and touch on the USB connection setting that will have appeared. Choose media transfer option.

Hi and welcome to the community.

If your screen is locked I believe you may need to enter your access pin for kies to open on your pc.
