Galaxy s6 edge plus delays

Hi,

 

I have pre-ordered the s6 edge plus and it looked like it was going to be sent to me on the 4th of september, however just now i received a text saying that they dont have enough stock, does anyone from o2 here have an idea on how long of a delay it might be? roughly will do, days or weeks type of thing.

Well if it was going to be in stock it was only from tomorrow so we will have to wait and see...:smileywink:

Hey everyone, 

 

Came across this thread yesterday. I rang up O2 CS this morning to get an update on the status of my order. They said it was awaiting dispatch and I should recieve it tomorrow.

I just recieved a text saying my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow!

 

I placed my order the day it was available for pre-order. Just my two cents slight_smile

Haxz,

 

Did you get the text message last night stating they were awaiting more stock etc?

 

UPDATE

 

It's now gone 8pm.  No further text saying delivery tomorrow. Ah well....guess it's still at awaiting dispatch till more stock arrives!

I spoke to them today and they told me they have plenty in stock and will be with me tomorrow if ordered but there's no deals at the moment can people say what deals they got if any??

Well here I am ☺, I received a text about half an hour after speaking to CS saying that my phone will be delivered on the 4th by dpd so either I have been lucky or maybe bumped up in the delivery system because I phoned and questioned it. We will never know, I do however hope it does arrive tomorrow and that the rest of you get your devices soon too. I will update tomorrow regarding if I get it or not .

As long as O2 have dispatched it you should be fine with DPD... a damn good courier service actually @Anonymous

I too contacted customer services (via chat) yesterday and they told me it would be fine to collect it today (4th) at the store I set to collect it from, so I'm quite pleased with that.

 

My order still says 'in progress' though but it also says its been despatched to the store with DPD and has included a Parcel no. so fingers crossed everything will go smoothly later today, I'll come back and write an update and let you all know how I got on after I've been to the store.
