Galaxy S4 Blue Screen

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi everyone,

This morning my S4 has gone a bit weird and will either refuse to start up properly going straight to a totally blue screen, with the notification light pulsing blue.

Or, it teases me for a few minutes working normally, before shifting to the blue screen and pulsing light.

I've tried taking the battery out for 10+ minutes then refitting it, but the problem is just the same.

I've also held the power button for a 10 count in the hope it will restart; it didn't. That time, it was blue screen, then black screen, then permanent vibrate!

Has anyone any suggestions apart from "it's dead, get a new phone"?

You could try a factory reset but it does sound like it's dead.
(Vol Up + Home + Power until it boots).

That's next on my list of things to do more in hope than expectation.

I'll download a data recovery tool first then give the reset a whirl.

But it does look like an upgrade is needed.

Thanks for a quick reply by the way slight_smile
