Hi,
Ive had my Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) for nearly 18 months now and this morning my phone was off, which was strange as I charge overnight, when I tried to turn it on I couldn't and I had to remove the battery before it would turn on. Unfortunately though now it wont past the initial boot screen (which shows the Galaxy logo).
My phone also won't go into recovery or download modes on boot up using the power+home+volume technique and Kies won't acknowledge that my phone is plugged in to the PC.
Other than the Galaxy logo the only other thing the screen will display is the battery charging when it is plugged in.
My phone is not rooted and Ive never tried to root it, and it's running Jelly Bean.
I've accepted that I'm probably going to lose everything on the phone but is there anything I can do to get it working because I can't upgrade until December 😞
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Okay I've tried again twice with each USB port and with different cable and each one fails. I even reverted back to the newer Odin (v3.07) and tried that a few times again to no avail.
Is there anything else that might work?

Okay I'll try that since I was prepred to lose it all anyway.
Thanks

Pressing Volume up doesnt do anything 😕
I just get the "Samsung Galaxy SII" Boot screen again and the phone will not do anything else

It won't.
Once I press the power button the boot screen shows and then just goes off.
If I let go of the power button once the boot screen shows then the screen just stays on and the same if I let go of all buttons when it displays the boot screen 😕

This is the only screen I see (other than the download mode screen):
