Galaxy S2 Jelly bean update?

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

It's reported Samsung will release this in Nov. Any idea when we'll get it on O2 S2 phones?

I updated last night.  First it stated it did not recognise my phone but once unplugged and rebooted it loaded 4.1.2 without a hitch.  It even brought everything back onto the phone, settings, apps etc, well apart from four email accounts but I set them back up and then tidied the apps back into folders.  So far no issues

I'm just curious how users got Jelly Bean on the S2 device? I'm on O2 bill pay on Galaxy S2 (GT-19100P) Android 4.0.3. Have you plugged into Kies or was it an over the air update? Thanks.

P variant is the NFC enabled phone. Update is not released for that phone yet.

I have the standard GT-I9100 phone but when I connect to Kies it tells me my firmware is up to date (PDA:LPT/PHONE:LQ6/CSC:LPA(CPW).

Any ideas?
