I did a search but could not see this issue so forgive me if I am mistaken.

Its done this little issue a few times so here goes..

I just charged my Galaxy S2 from 10% to 100% (showing the battery 100% symbol) but when i remove the charger from the phone, widget I use to show my battery percentage, which shows 100 just before the charger is removed, immediately drops to 98 or 99. Anyone else seeing something like this? My software is up to date so I am not sure what this is.

If anyone else has seen this let me know.

Its the battery chip that's not properly calibrated. You need to completely run the battery flat until the phone turns off then recharge fully in one go with the phone still off. Once the battery reads 100% pull the charger and remove battery for 5 mins. All should be good from there on in....

How old is the battery? Do you ever let the battery compeletely die before recharging?

The battery is new, I bought it a month ago and only just put it in. I have not yet let it go to absolute 0 before recharging. However, it did this little issue on the old battery as well.
