If you have backed the phone up then first of all try clearing the cache and if that doesn't help, then a factory reset. This is done through the root menu.

When the phone is off, hold down the home, volume up key and the on button until you get the splash screen and then release.

You should get the android robot and then the root menu.

Using the volume button scroll down to clear partition cache and activate by pressing the on button.

Once the cache is cleared it should automatically go to the reboot on the menu. Again action this by pressing the on button. Your phone will then reboot.

Factory reset is done the same way.

Have you installed any new apps that coincide with the problems that you are having?

If all else fails then the phone needs to go in for a warranty repair.
