Galaxy Ace 2 tethering

Hi guys. My mother in law is currently in hospital and is in serious need of entertainment, is it easy enough to wifi tether from the Ace 2, I haven had a look and am guessing its probably self explanatory but thought I would have a little look before I visit tonight slight_smile

Stylee mentions "wifi tether" in the first post so I assume they have checked out the availability, but I agree, if you are using the contract data plan it will get consumed very quickly.

There's no nationwide service for NHS hospitals - it's up to the individual hospital or local trust to decide if and how to handle it.   A number of hospitals do have wifi but it's not free - you have to pay for access, the same way you now have to pay to watch TV.

None of the hospitals in the Greater Manchester area have free wifi. It would be such a benefit for in-patients and is something the government should look at providing.
