Finally got my new Samsung Galaxy S4 but,,frustrated!

My old phone upto last month was a Samsung Galaxy S2 on Virgin network and got  Internet Signal betwwen 3G and H+.Now I was expecting big things from my new phone-Samsung Galaxy S4 this time on O2 network. But I'm disappointed,It started out at H  now for the most part  the Signal stays at G with a nasty drop once or twice down to an E.I've tried 3 or 4 Internet Booster Apps but no difference and when on the Internet if I don't switch on the WiFi alot of the time the pages just time out.Is there anything I can do to get a better Internet Signal.Any help would be appreciated.Help

The O2 signal in your area may not be as good as your old network.
This could be due to O2's upgrade programme which is improving the signal all over the country or it could be that you are in an area that is not yet covered very well.
The network status pages will tell you if there are any current issues or if there is any planned maintenance happening.

Hi

Thanks for the update.

Have you tried having your sim swapped out too ?

Network future will hopefully help things along.

Hang on for the network improvements to kick in for your area.

My work location went from virtually no service to strong 4G after the area was updated....

If you are on contract now, it sounds like your cooling off period has passed. Hope the improvements to coverage in your area follows quickly. We normally advise trying a P&G sim first if you are thinking of changing networks which holds true for any network, not just O2.

It's a new pay monthly contract(phone+sim) I have. It's the area I'm in,not getting a good O2 signal. From E-G is the signal I get from my house. But when I connect the phone to my computers wifi then it's good signal. Was out in town other day and got a good signal upto an H+.It looks like while I'm in the house I'll have to keep it connected to the wifi.
