Fast Charging not working on Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

I got my new S7 edge in March this year.

Last week I noticed that the phone is no longer fast charging.

If the phone is almost dead it gives me an estimate of up to 8hours for it to be fully charged.

I have changed the cables. I have even bought new cables and it is not working with the cable that came with the charger or any other cable.

Any ideas?

@xxscrappyxx  Contact Samsung support directly. Do not go through O2. The phone is still under warranty, and Samsung would be your best bet to have the issue dealt with properly. http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/category/mobile/mobiledevice

Are you using the correct charger and do you still have fast charging turned on in settings?

It is possible that the charger itself could be faulty. Do you know anyone with a fast charger you can try? I'm just trying to save you the hassle of returning it to Samsung though as @Bambino says, they are definitely the preferred option if necessary.

Hi. I eventually got round to taking the phone to the Samsung Store. There is a problem with the USB port which they can fix but they had no screens in stock (usb port attached to screen apparently) and their sytem would not give them a delivery date either.

Phone does fast charge on a wireless charger, so I suggested they gave me one of those instead. They couldn't was the response and they had none in stock either.

So I am no further forward with this problem.

Forgot to add. Dude in the shop said he has seen quite a few people come in with this problem 😞
