Constant Balance Notifications

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I've just switched over to o2 (after terrible serivce from Virgin Mobile) and as soon as I placed in my sim, I recieve notifications with my balance value everytime I send a text message.

I understand this may be of a result of something I've looked over, but any help would be much appreciated. slight_smile

Call CS on 4445 and ask them to turn off balance notifications for you.

Can't this be done on the phone @MI5?

When I was PAYG I actually liked this function. It was a constant reminder of when I needed to top up...:smileywink:

@Cleoriff, no it can't.

It needs cs to change a setting then update the system, I used to have this on pay as you go with a few different phones & you can't do it yourself

We've suggested previously that it could be something added as an option in My O2 but it's not been implemented as yet.

Some love and some hate it, it would be good to have in MyO2 for P and G users.

It appears that the problem solved itself in the span of 20 minutes or so, but thank you for the help, I'll note it down incase it's needed in future. grin
