Hi
I got a new phone. The s10. I am an o2 customer.
I gave my old samsung to my mum who is not an o2 customer
We both previously could connect to public o2 hotspots and get internet
However since the change of phone we have both noticed that we are connected to the hotspot but with no internet
As i am on o2 i went into my o2 app and deleted my old devices. Maybe wen i now try again it will work?
However if this is the case. Then my mum who is not on o2. How can she delete old devices. There seems to be no way of doing this.
Unless someone knows?

If you are connected but with no internet it means there is an issue with the hotspot, not your phone.

Try advanced WiFi options and choose a static dns.

I will try this.
Another thing. I logged into my mums o2 wifi account with her number and cleared her old devices. So the device list was clear.
But wen she tried to connect to an o2 wifi at her work she got this message....
Couldnt sign in try removing and readding your account on this device.
Any ideas?
