Complete loss of 3g

Anonymous
Not applicable
This problem happened yesterday (Sunday 24th March) although at the time I'd been somewhere with poor signal and put it down to that initially.

I have a Sony Xperia S and as of yesterday, I have no 3g capability on my phone. I was travelling back from Leicester when I first noticed it but I'm now back home, have full signal strength and I know that I would normally have full 3g coverage. I haven't been anywhere near the settings nor I have I received any settings updates from O2. I've tried reconnecting to the network and rebooting the handset, neither have worked.

The service checker on the O2 website also says service should be fine in the Manchester area.

Is anyone else having problems?

Try removing and wiping the SIM first but it's possible the SIM has gone faulty.

Sounds like your phone is busted. Contact Sony or O2 for repair process......

When you say it's not the SIM do you mean you have signal on the other phone with your SIM in it? If that's the case, sounds like your phone is faulty. Also as mentioned by Bambino, check for works in your area.
