Cant Receive Texts on Samsung Galaxy S3

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently got the Samsung Galaxy S3 and everything was working fine. Last weekend my phone stopped receiving texts but I can send texts no problem?

Ive done a SIM & Battery pull but to no avail. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Ive tried sending myself a messgae but it won't come through.

O2 are saying it could be my SIM but it worked fine on Blackberry that I had previously.

Please Help!!

Not had any problems with mine. Try another SIM first.

As a test, download GoSMS off Google play. If you still can't receive it must be either a SIM or account issue. You don't have to keep the app afterwards if you don't want to.

Try opening messages, then press the bottom left menu key and open settings. Press the menu key again and choose to restore default settings.

Reboot the phone and try sending a message to yourself again.

Check your message centre number is exactly as below....

Message Centre number is fine as well? Is this quite common with the Galaxy S3 as quick Google search seems to indicate it is?
