Cannot get Wi-Fi calling to work on Oneplus 6

I have a Oneplus 6 (A6003 running Oxygen 9.0.9) with VoLTE (4G calling) and Wi-Fi Calling enabled, and have Wi-Fi calling activated on my O2 account (apparently) but cannot make or receive any calls (or texts) over Wi-Fi.     I was hoping to be able to because we are in a mobile coverage blackspot.

Does anyone have any advice how to solve this.

Thank you

Texts will not work over WiFi but calling does.

If you cannot see the settings in SIM and network settings (then tap the O2 SIM) it's not enabled on your account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
