Can anyone help please? I've just bought a Sony Ericcson Xperia Ray with an O2 monthly contract and connected it to my Ford Focus via bluetooth. It connects straight away when I start the car and I can make calls with voice control or key pad but as I move out of range of the signal it doesn't automatically connect to a new one until I get my phone out and swipe to unlock the screen (which is obviously dangerous). It is still connected to the car as I can access the phonebook on the cars screen but if I try to make a call it says "no service" until I get the phone out and swipe the screen again. Any ideas?

A similar problem here which may be solved by making sure wifi is turned off, but appears to be an ongoing issue:
I hope that helps.

Thankyou perksie. I've tried switching wifi off and it makes no difference. I so wish I'd seen the talk-sony thread before I bought a Sony! It's obviously been a problem for a long time now and Sony don't appear to be doing anything about it. At least I now know it's not something I'm doing wrong.
