Calls to short no.s on TV comps/ quizes etc

I can't make calls to short no.s for TV Comps/Quizes etc. e.g. 65058 . How do i change settings to enable this ?

You can't make calls to short codes. Those codes are only for texting to or from.

There are many instances of scams whereby receiving texts from these short codes can mean charges are added to your account or credit is taken.

It would appear to be a voting code for the likes of BB and X_Factor etc....

Hi thanks .. yes , my daughter is always asking to vote on BB & its not allowing it .. the actual no. would be 6505811 or similar combination. It says 'blocked no.s not allowed' or the like but i can't find a way to unblocked.

You need to call customer service to get the premium rate bar lifted from the account to enable voting on such numbers.
