Call divert

I haven't had a mobile signal at home for the last 10 days and today I received a message saying I would get another update in 7 days if the problem hasn't been fixed before. There is a signal half a mile down the road  which is frustrating.

I want to divert calls when there is no signal and there seems to be a code ** 21 * phone number # SEND which should do this. I'm probably missing something but can't work out where to send this code!

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

My phone is a Xiaomi A2 Lite on the current Android version.

Hi @Janx

You put the code in the dialler app, and the phone number is where you want the call to go to.
This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I'm OK with definng where I want the diverts to go - it's where to send the code. Google messages, which is how I send texts, needs an address to send it to - maybe I need a dialler App

@Janx

It is the same as dialling a phone number so needs to go into the same application you use to make phone calls.

It usually has a phone icon

Thanks - I'll try that (after walking far enough to find a signal!)
