Bootloader unlock Allowed: No

Anonymous
Not applicable

I want to change this to YES so I can customize the phone to better suite my needs, I used the O2 Live Chat and a few days later they gave me NCK to unlock the network, I don't need to use my phone with other Sim Cards as I'm only using o2,

So how can I unlock the bootloader?

I can't fully carry on with these instructions over at http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions due to my phone's bootloader being locked

You can't and O2 won't give you the code.
It's a limitation of you buying an O2 handset - They don't want you screwing anything up.
If you want to play with phones you should buy SIM free.

So they gave me a Network unlock code instead? Why would they not just say they can't do it instead of giving me an Network unlock code?

Because live chat wouldn't know what a bootloader was and thought you meant a SIM lock.....
