Hey, it's my second month since i upgrade my old plan I cant believe that VAT are not included in my tariff, my tariff is £42 month and in top of that they put £8 ish on my bill can someone please explain it. I thought my tariff was 42 including VAT.
O2 adding hidden charges.

There are no hidden charges at all.
If you have a business account you will have to add vat but not on a consumer tariff.
Check your bill breakdown in your MyO2 for a full list of charges as some calls and texts may be extra and not included in your tariff allowances.

It is included but your myo2 will show the breakdown.
All advertised consumer tariffs include the vat element so what you see is what you pay.

No,  in my o2 app shows that my latest bill are £51 the breakdown show my tarrif are 42 and my VAT are 8 ish pounds

I must admit I'm the same.

I upgraded in December to the 3GB airtime tariff quoted as £21.50 a month.

I've just received my first bill and the airtime portion is £26.88.

£20.32 airtime (as its something like 1 day short of a full month), £2.08 in messages (which I was expecting), then a surprising £4.48 VAT.

I think it's shocking that there is nowhere at least stating that the £21.50 a month airtime is excl. VAT.

No. The £20.32 is your full month plus a couple of days, less vat. So next month your bill will be something like £17.91 + vat = £21.50
