Big red block on note 10

My screen is suddenly covered over two thirds with a big red block. I have not dropped the note10 plus. How do I get rid of it?

Hey @LJC happy Friday! It would be interesting to hear if you managed to find out what that red block was on your phone screen in the end?

Samsung have been absolutely useless. It is now day two of week two and I can't get anyone to arrange a repair. Still can't use my phone.

I now know that it is a common problem on the Note 10 and is screenburn on the OLED screen. The usual repair is to replace the screen and battery under warranty.

However I just get generic responses by email and no luck with the online chat or phone. In fact they are a bit rude.

If anyone has any ideas how I can speed up this absolute circus, please let me know.
