Android 6.0 Samsung galaxy s6

OK I have searched the net and even tried to talk to O2 via online chat and there seems to be no new news on this upgrade for s6 on o2. I spoke to 3 different gurus online and I was told it does not exist, it's not coming to Samsung on o2 and finilly it will be ready 2017. So before I give up and admit to my wife that htc are better for updates does anyone on here know when android 6.0 will be ready to download for samsung galaxy S6 on o2?

Well my husbands was bought from Amazon via a third party seller but it was 'Fulfilled by Amazon' (which means they are usually recommended by Amazon) and its Amazon you should contact if you have an issue with the phone

Theres no problem with the phone. It's just not got UK firmware on it.
