Alternatives to the Note 7

Anonymous

Hi

As the Note 7 is no longer an option, I am forced to look at alternative phones with similar form factor that have or will be shortly launched.

I think this might be an option. Any thoughts or better alternatives.

Although I would have chosen the Sony XZ... the Google Pixel and Pixel XL are getting quite good reviews

Hi

Yes they do look like great phones.  Also, I wonder if any of us of thinking of the Galaxy S7 Edge, given how it shares a lot of tech with the now defunct Note 7.

Personally, I am looking to see a detailed review of the S7 verses the Pixel XL where they also compare the photos taken with each.  Does anyone know when the S7 edge might get the Nouget upgrade?

According to the article here it will be Q1 of 2017 but at the moment I think it's all guesswork

I have decided to go for the Oneplus3 and move totally away from Samsung.

Hopefully this one wont cause me issues..

@Marjo I could stick with the Note 4 until the Note 8 gets released as this is likely to be a "must have" phone. MY Note 4 is effectivly paid then and the only expenses will be the new battery and a monthly tariff.
Depends on when the Note 8 and that will be determined by the S8 IMHO. Anbody heard rumours on the Note 8 release date?

Alternatively,

Go for the LG V20 or

Go fo the Google Pixel XL
