Adding to dictionary for Sony Xperia 5 iii

Hi. How can I add new words to the dictionary in my Sony Xperia 5 iii? My old Sony Xperia learned to add frequent new words but this one doesn't. Thanks for any help you can give

The default keyboard in Xperia 5iii is, I believe, gboard.

So the addition method for personal words should be:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open any app that you can type with, like Gmail or Keep.
2. Tap an area where you can enter text.
3. Enter the word that you want to add.
4. Tap the word underlined in red.
5. Tap Add to dictionary.

Tip: Misspelled words might be corrected as you type. To undo any corrections that may have been made automatically, tap backspace
