2nd failed repair on Samsung S4

Morning!

I've had a Samsung S4 since December and it's been a total disaster.  O2 have sent it off twice and both times it's come back "no fault detected" even though it switches off and doesn't come back on.

I've brought it into work with me today to take back to the O2 shop for a third attempt at repair, it's not in it's usual protective case on as they always take them off when they go for repair.

SODS LAW it has been scratched by my work keys Smiley Frustrated It has been so well looked after (despite nearly being thrown out of a window a few times!!!).  It looked brand new until today!

My question is, when it now goes off for the third repair will O2 say it looks like it's been dropped and therefore not give me a replacement?

I'm so bloody annoyed!!  Of all the things to get scratched in my bag!  The screen is absolutely perfect but there are 3 or 4 little scuffs along the silver rim around the top and bottom of the phone.

It'll be just my luck they'll now turn round and say it's been dropped and I'm stuck with it  😞

Appreciate that.

Their are members in here such as @MI5 and @jonsie to name drop who I'm sure would walk you through anything your unsure of.

Hope you get sorted soon.

Just follow the correct repair process and the phone will be repaired or replaced by O2.... eventually !!

Thanks MI5, you've been a great help over the past month or so with all the s4 issues I've had!! When I popped it back into the O2 shop today they said next time I hear from them it'll be fixed or I'll have a replacement waiting. Fingers crossed! slight_smile

I believe O2's policy is that if they cannot repair your phone after three attempts they will provide you with a replacement, so you should, as they said, get your phone back repaired, or be given another one, which will most likely be a refurbished one.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
